Biography

I came to Taylor as a freshman in 2001 with a well-thought-out plan for my life. But God's plans are better than ours, and I ended up learning so much from the librarians in Zondervan Library that I decided to pursue a career in librarianship. When I finished grad school, a position opened up here among my mentors, and I joined them in 2007 as a colleague. I have enjoyed my time working with students, faculty, and staff since then, and my greatest joy in my work is helping students achieve their best academically.

My family includes my husband, Kyle; my three adorable children: Parker, Piper, and Porter; and the family cat, Quincy.

Responsibilities

Manages library operations and the Zondervan Library building. Along with the Library staff team, I supervise 25+ student employees and provides various services to students including individual research consultations; entire class research sessions; circulation of books, laptops, and other materials; interlibrary loan (borrowing books & articles from other libraries); open study rooms and study spaces; and much more.
