How to Apply

Help us understand who you are. Each piece of the application introduces a part of your story, from how you spend your time, to how you have seen God working in your life.

Your Application Will Include:

Tell us how God has been working in your life. You can do this one of two ways:

  • Write your story
  • Share your story with an Admissions Counselor in person or over the phone.

SAT/ACT/CLT Scores & High School Transcript

Taylor University is “test-preferred, but flexible.” We recognize test scores are only part of a student’s story, which is why we already consider a student’s complete application file in making an admission decision. Applications are reviewed with or without the submission of ACT, SAT, or CLT test scores. Students who cannot or choose not to submit test scores may be asked to share more information, including:

  • Recommendations from high school English and/or Mathematics teachers
  • Complete an academic questionnaire (high school GPA at or below 2.9)
  • English course placement based on completed AP courses or writing sample
  • Complete Taylor University proficiency exams in Reading and/or Mathematics

If you are asked to provide this information, please submit these items to Taylor University. Your application is not complete without these components.

  • Academic References are an optional addition to your application. View the form.

  • FAFSA Code: 001838
  • ACT Code: 1248
  • SAT Code: 1802

Academic Preparation
