Indiana "weather guy" legend Chuck Lofton invites you to join him on a personal tour of Taylor University and the town of Upland.
Taylor is all about relationships. From day one as a freshman, every student is invited to wholeheartedly participate in the engaging, vibrant life that happens on our campus.
As Taylor’s biggest basketball game of the year, Silent Night is the last men’s game before Christmas break. Students dress in crazy costumes and pack the stadium, remaining completely and utterly silent until Taylor scores its tenth point. Then, the crowd explodes with cheers and celebration. The game ends with a student-led rendition of Silent Night.
All Taylor students are better prepared for the future by interacting with a diverse global community. That’s why we help students build connections on campus that will make them more effective intercultural leaders and Christ-followers.
