Grants

Grants are a kind of financial assistance that do not need to be repaid. A grant is usually awarded based on a certain level of financial need or other requirements. Most grants require that the FAFSA is filed each year.

  • Federal Pell Grant

    Eligibility: Eligibility based on the FAFSA.

    Amount: Up to $2,000

    Eligibility: Eligibility based on the FAFSA. Student must be enrolled at least half-time.

    Amount: Up to $9,200

    Eligibility: Must be a primary resident of Indiana, enrolled full-time. Amount awarded based on FAFSA.

  • Indiana 21st Century Grant

    Type of Aid: Grant

    Amount: $8,863

    Eligibility: Must be a 21st Century Scholar. Students attending public schools in Indiana can sign up for the 21st Century Scholar program in the 8th grade and continue in the program throughout high school.

  • Taylor Grant for Lilly Community Foundation Scholars

    Amount: Room and Board Charges

    Eligibility: Must be a Lilly Community Foundation Scholar

  • Taylor Church Matching Grant

    Description: Taylor University will match your church’s gift up to $2,000 per year per student, or a maximum of $1,000 per semester per student. The church must submit the Church Matching Grant Pledge Form by April 15. Funds for entire academic year must be received no later than July 1.

    Eligibility: Taylor matches a church's gift up to the amount above. Churches may make their payment online.

  • Transfer Grant

    Type of Aid: Grant

    Amount: $6,000

    Eligibility: Awarded to all transfer students who have taken at least one year of college credit after high school and have a college GPA of 2.5-2.99.
