Women’s History (Minor)

A minor in Women’s History explores the role and relevance of women throughout history.

This program puts women’s stories and experiences at the center—challenging traditional narratives and offering a deeper, more complete view of the past. You'll study influential women, key historical movements, and issues that continue to shape women's lives today, spanning a wide range of time periods and cultures.

The Women’s History minor pairs well with Global Studies, Orphans and Vulnerable Children, Politics and Law, Politics and Public Service, and Politics, Philosophy & Economics.

Women’s History also pairs well with majors in English, Christian Ministries, or Theatre Arts. In addition, a minor in Women’s History can give a liberal arts emphasis to a more career-focused major such as Marketing, Management, or Film and Media Production.
