Refine your God-given musical abilities lead others in worship on and off campus.
With the Worship Arts major, you’ll develop a robust philosophy of worship and study the art of songwriting. Your musical focus could be on piano, voice, and/or guitar. You will also have the opportunity to learn and study other instruments.
Through your experience, you will develop the confidence and skill to lead others well, both musically and spiritually. Most students in this degree program are also involved in our chapel music ministry program, gaining invaluable experience in leadership on campus. The worship arts program is frequently paired with Christian Ministries and Biblical Studies in some capacity.

Career Opportunities:
Taylor faculty in the Music, Theatre & Dance Department provide hands-on mentorship, supporting students in and beyond the classroom.
The curriculum guides below outline required courses and degree requirements for each academic program.
Students interested in course descriptions and academic policies can check out our Undergraduate Catalog.
A Taylor liberal arts education will prepare you to live and work in a fast-changing world. It also goes a step further: laying a strong spiritual foundation that cultivates wisdom. You’ll become a well-versed individual, equipped with critical thinking skills, a lifelong love of learning, and an appreciation for God’s creation.
As a Worship Arts student at Taylor, you’ll build an online portfolio that highlights the creative and ministry work you’ve done throughout the program. From songwriting and production to service planning and media projects, your portfolio will showcase your strengths and passions—helping you stand out to future employers, churches, or grad programs.
