Apartment-style living at Taylor has much to offer students who are looking for a transitional area to call home. Students who are looking for a chance to live in a more independent environment yet still be involved on campus can opt to live in one of these spaces conveniently located on or close to campus.
Campbell Hall and Wolgemuth Hall are apartment residence halls on the north side of campus. Campbell Hall consists of 15 individual apartments housing 60 students, and Wolgemuth Hall offers 23 individual apartments housing 92 students. Each hall has a capacity for five residents per apartment, and returning students may apply for residence in groups.
The two-bedroom apartments are air-conditioned and fully furnished with beds, dressers, desks, desk chairs, and bookshelves. Each apartment offers a living room and a kitchen equipped with a stove and refrigerator, and microwaves are provided in the common areas of both buildings. Additionally, laundry facilities are located on the first floor and lower level of Campbell and Wolgemuth, respectively, and multiple study rooms are available for students throughout the buildings. Wolgemuth also includes an elevator.
Campbell and Wolgemuth offer students a warm and cozy living environment. The apartments have had their fair share of events, such as soup nights, baking nights, holiday cookie competitions, a fall retreat, and a froyo pick-a-date.
The Residential Village is located on the south side of campus, just a stretch of sidewalk away from many of the traditional residence halls. The seven townhome-style buildings house up to 152 students, and each building comprises four three-level living units. Each unit is complete with four to five rooms, a living area, full kitchen (microwave not included), and washer and dryer. The air-conditioned apartments are furnished with beds, desks, desk chairs, and dressers, and laundry facilities are located in each building.
Dinners with housemates, front porch greetings, and gatherings around the fire pits are typical activities between townhome residents. Additionally, the Residential Village kicks off the beginning of the academic year with its Aparty, short for “apartment party”—a social mixer where residents can meet and mingle right outside of their homes.
Returning students are eligible to apply for a townhome in groups of 10. Each building has one townhome with a capacity of eight for accommodation purposes.

Haven is located five blocks north of Taylor. The condo-style buildings house four students in each unit. Students have the opportunity to live in a first-floor or second-floor unit with slightly different layouts. Each unit is air-conditioned and complete with a kitchen (microwave not included), living room, and two bedrooms with walk-in closets, and laundry facilities are located in each building. Haven apartments are furnished with beds and dressers. Apartment garages lead out to a small patio, and two outdoor parking spots per unit provide additional space for residents’ vehicles.
Whether it be uniquely decorating their apartments or fostering community with their housemates and neighbors, students at The Haven enjoy bringing what they love about Taylor just a few blocks down.
