Spend a Semester in Kenya

Taylor University and Daystar University have entered into a partnership to expand opportunities for global engagement, intercultural learning, and faith-based scholarship. Daystar University is a private, Christian liberal arts university with approximately 1,500 undergraduate students located about 40 kilometers from Nairobi. 

Through reciprocal semester-long study abroad programs, students will live and study at the partner university, learning and serving alongside peers in a cross-cultural academic community.

What to Expect

Undergraduate students are housed in student dorms on the Athi River Campus built on 300 acres of land 40 kilometers from Nairobi. You will have the opportunity to study with African students from across East Africa.

Students will have the option of several excursions, including climbing Mount Kenya, the second-tallest mountain in Africa, relaxing in Mombasa on the Indian Ocean, traveling to Kampala, Uganda, and whitewater rafting on the Nile.
