Since 1846, Taylor University—a coeducational, nondenominational Christian liberal arts college—has stood by its belief that education and living should be built on faith. Currently, 47% of undergraduate students major in the programs of Business, Education, Kinesiology, or History, Geography and Political Science. Another 30% major in the programs of Psychology, Physics and Engineering, Biology, Computer Science and Engineering, Christian Ministries, and Art.

Taylor is proud of its commitment to helping students find opportunities to learn and serve abroad.
Taylor has ranked in the top 25 baccalaureate colleges in study abroad since 2010. In addition to academic study abroad trips, students can also earn credit as short-term missionaries to US cities.
In 2022-2023, Taylor ranked #4 in the top 20 baccalaureate colleges for short-term duration trips by the Institute of International Education Open Doors Report. Taylor is also ranked #12 for awarding credit for study abroad and #11 for overall undergraduate study abroad participation within the top 40 baccalaureate colleges.
Launched in 1972, Taylor’s Lighthouse program is in its 54rd year of sending students abroad to learn and build their faith through global service.
Taylor is home to the first campus chapter of MuKappa, a collegiate organization for students who have grown up in a cross-cultural setting. MuKappa is now in its 40th year.
The most recent National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) revealed that 92% of seniors and 95% of first-year students would attend Taylor again.
94% of first-year students and 93% of seniors would evaluate their entire educational experience at Taylor as “Excellent” or “Good.”
