At Taylor University, chapel isn’t just something we do.
It’s part of who we are.

Three times a week—Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 10 am—something beautiful happens:

We stop.

Classes pause. Activities wait. Meetings are put on hold.
And the campus gathers as one body to worship, pray, and hear from God’s Word.

There are no ID scanners. No seat-checkers.
Just the student body, shoulder to shoulder, hearts lifted high—not because they have to be there, but because they want to be.
Because something sacred happens when we come together.

The air is electric. The Holy Spirit is present.

And it’s full. So full, in fact, that we’ve run out of room.

What Students Say About Chapel

"There's such a genuine spiritual hunger among the students at Taylor that I think it shows up at our chapel attendance bursting at the seams."

Let's Make Room for More of What Matters

Over 35% of current students don't have a place to sit in chapel. We’re stepping forward in faith to expand the LaRita Boren Campus Center—creating a new, purpose-built Chapel & Welcome Center that reflects the heartbeat of Taylor.

We’re not building the Kingdom. That’s God’s work.
But we are making space. Space to seek it, receive it, proclaim it, and pray for it to come.

This is more than a construction project.
It’s an invitation to participate in what God is already doing among us.

Give Now

We're asking you, students, parents, alumni, donors, and friends, to stand with us.

Because when we gather under the name of Jesus, we live more fully into His reign. Lives are transformed.

And we want to ensure every student has the opportunity—not just to attend chapel, but to encounter the presence of Christ in community.

Let’s make room.

Not to build something for God, but to be ready—fully present—for what God is building among us.

"Chapel is one of the closest things to the heart of Christ that I've ever corporately experienced."

Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts.
