Faith-Based Nursing Education Rooted in Compassion

At Taylor University, our faith in God shapes how we study nursing, health, and the natural sciences—and the natural world continually points us back to the Creator. The human body is central to God’s creation. God gives and sustains life, yet our physical bodies still feel the effects of sin. In His grace, God invites us into the redemptive work of restoring His kingdom on earth, including the care, treatment, and healing of the human body through the nursing profession.

The beauty of a Taylor University Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program is that we prioritize both biblical truth and scientific excellence. This unique integration of faith-based nursing education and rigorous academic study prepares you to be a knowledgeable registered nurse who is equipped to handle the ethical dilemmas, patient needs, and professional responsibilities you will encounter in healthcare. We embrace Scripture’s call to “Be kind and compassionate to one another” (Ephesians 4:32).

Through Bible classes, liberal arts courses, and hands-on nursing clinicals, you will be prepared to deliver compassionate, Christ-centered patient care. Not only will you be an exceptional nurse—you’ll be an exceptional nurse who loves God, serves others, and makes a difference in the lives of patients and families.
