For more than 20 years, Taylor University has invested in a catalog of, at first correspondence, and now online courses. These courses extend our mission beyond our campus in Upland, Indiana, to minister Christ’s redemptive love, grace, and truth to a world in need. 

We hope to help you serve your studentsnot take students away from your school. Taylor University Online may offer a class your school does not offer. While opportunities abound to find courses through a third-party organization, choosing Taylor gives you the: 

  • Confidence of partnering directly with the course developer and provider. Taylor University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and have been in higher education for more than 175 years.
  • Ability to customize course dates to match the unique needs of your institution / student.
  • Certainty your students will learn and grow through our quality online, faith-based courses.
  • Option to use consortium agreements to simplify tuition and payment.

Partnering Options 

Course for an Individual Student: 86 courses are offered in independent study online format. This asynchronous format allows for open enrollment—start any course any day. Students can build upon the flexibility to work within their individual schedules.

Summer Course for an Individual Student: Your students can join Taylor University, CCCU, and ABHE students in online courses during Taylor's summer term. This select group of courses run as cohorts. 

Fall or Spring Course for a Group of Your Students: Select an online course from the entire catalog to offer as a cohort made up of only your students and customize the schedule to match your university’s term dates.

Who teaches online courses?

Online courses are taught by Taylor University faculty or by an adjunct instructor who has been hired by the department chair.

What is the course management system?

Brightspace—Guest students will receive a Taylor University login upon registration.

Do students have to apply for admission to Taylor University?

No. Guest students will fill out a short enrollment form to take an individual course and are not admitted as degree seeking students of Taylor University. To arrange a cohort of your students, we will work directly with a representative of your school. We do accept consortium agreements.
