Seven Taylor University seniors have been accepted into the 2026 Orr Fellowship cohort. This celebrated and prominent program selects expectant college graduates for full-time paid positions at leading companies based in Indiana. This year, Norah Aalsma, Damon Hockett, Michael Hoover, Nathaniel Kooi, Olivia Nairn, David Voss, and Justice White will graduate with opportunities in various industries to gain valuable experience and build connections.
These graduating students will join 135 other young professionals who have been accepted into the Orr Fellowship. These members hail from a wide range of universities, including Indiana University, Purdue University, and the University of Notre Dame, and will be entering a variety of fields, including History, Management, Marketing, Political Science, Psychology, and Public Relations.
Political Science, Philosophy, and Economics (PPE) major David Voss will be working with the Applied Research Institute, an organization dedicated to connecting resources across America’s technology ecosystem. "It is truly a blessing to be joining the 2026 Cohort of Orr Fellows," Voss reflected. "I am so grateful for the personal investment and godly influence of my professors, friends, and family. I would not be where I am now without them, both professionally and as a person. I am excited to jump into the next phase of life and grateful for all the doors God has opened."
Marketing and Management double major Nathaniel Kooi will be working with Boys & Girls Clubs of America, an organization dedicated to providing after-school opportunities for students across the country. "I am thankful for the opportunity to learn and grow with the organization I will be working with," Kooi said. "I am looking forward to being challenged and building connections over these next two years. I am truly excited, and I cannot wait to see what God has in store."
Each year, Taylor students are regularly accepted into the Orr Fellowship Program. "Taylor’s liberal arts curriculum helps students develop versatile skills—critical thinking, creativity, interdisciplinary understanding—that translate well to fellowship expectations and diversified roles within Orr partner companies. Former fellows often reflect that their broad education prepared them for a variety of challenges in the program," shared Provost Dr. Jewerl Maxwell.
Taylor University is proud to equip students to be Christ-like professionals and servant-leaders who impact their communities.
The Orr Fellowship's mission is to recruit and develop the next generation of business leaders and entrepreneurs. Fellows and partner companies make a two-year commitment to the Orr program. Fellows commit to recruitment, active participation in Orr events and initiatives, and representing the Fellowship well.
The program provides practical experience, professional development, and networking opportunities. Additionally, members become part of a vibrant peer community and serve the Indianapolis and Evansville communities in a variety of capacities.
