Academic Summer Camps offer high school students the chance to pursue their specific passion through academic learning and hands-on experiences at a higher level. Academic summer programs are open for rising high school sophomores and seniors.

Mark your calendar for June 24-29, 2026! Specific classes will be announced later this fall.

Registration opens January 5. 

Summer Programs Scholarship: This $1,000 one-time scholarship is awarded to students who enroll full-time at Taylor University who have attended an eligible summer camp, academy, or conference on Taylor’s campus during high school and prior to senior year, and completed the required scholarship process while on-campus during the camp or conference.

The Academic Camp Experience

Evening activities are the highlight of each day! Whether it’s roasting s’mores by the bonfire, racing down a giant slip-n-slide, or participating in uplifting worship under the stars, students create meaningful connections and lasting memories through these fun-filled moments.

Reserve Your Spot

The cost of each camp is listed in the camp description. A $75 non-refundable deposit is due when you register. The remaining balance is due by June 1.

Rising high school juniors and seniors are welcome!

Where You'll Stay

You will live with other campers in one of Taylor’s newest residence halls.

Schedule

Begin each day with breakfast and a Scripture Engagement session. Then you'll be in class until 5 pm with a break for lunch. Evenings will be full of fun group activities.

All students must complete and bring their signed medical release form.

We can’t wait to see you at Taylor’s Academic Summer Camps! Contact Brendan Maloney, Director of Academic Camps, at camps@taylor.edu for more information about these programs for high school students.

Registration will begin at 5:30 pm on Sunday in the lobby of Breuninger Hall. (Dinner will not be available, so please grab something on your way to campus.) Students can move into the residence hall until 7 pm, at which time there will be a Summer Program Welcome Meeting for students and parents.

Parents, please plan to leave campus following this meeting.

We will pick students up at the Indianapolis or Fort Wayne airports. Your arrival flight should arrive by 2 pm on the Sunday of camp.  

Return flights must have a departure time after 6 pm on Friday the last day of camp. 

Specific dates will be announced soon. 

To register for the airport shuttle service, fill out the Airport Shuttle Request Form.

You’ll be staying in Breuninger Hall and will be sharing your room with one roommate. The air-conditioned rooms include desks, beds, closets and a couple of dresser drawers per student. Free laundry facilities are available in the hall.

Students should plan to leave campus following the Showcase Event on Friday afternoon.
