Dual Credit Partnerships

Let’s work together and give your students a head start on college!

For more than 20 years, Taylor University has invested in distance education to extend our mission beyond our campus in Upland, Indiana, to minister Christ’s redemptive love, grace, and truth to a world in need.

Working closely with our Director of High School Partnerships, Noelle Brennan, you’ll be able to find the right courses delivered in the right formats for your school. Dual credit options can include:

  • Online class for an individual student
  • Online class for a group of students
  • Hybrid class with a Taylor University professor teaching at your high school periodically
  • Hybrid class with a Taylor University professor teaching at your high school virtually with a high school liaison present in the classroom
  • In-person class at your high school taught by a high school teacher, who is certified by Taylor University

Why Taylor?

Flexibility
The course schedule will be set to your school’s academic calendar. You determine the start and end dates, with all the same days off in between. We have a catalog of over 40 classes that can be taught through these methods. Browse our course catalog to review the variety of 100 and 200 level classes.

Faith-Based Institution
Most importantly, our mission is to develop servant-leaders marked with a passion to minister Christ’s redemptive love, grace, and truth to a world in need. Therefore, each professor works to simulate critical thinking about how faith is woven through the subject matter.

Established Institution
We just celebrated our 175th year in higher education! Taylor University recently placed number two in the Best Midwest Regional Colleges in the U.S. News & World Report, marking the 26th consecutive year Taylor has appeared in the region’s top three.

Accredited Institution
Taylor is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. Therefore, credits earned by high school students can transfer to other institutions. Acceptance of Taylor University credit is up to the discretion of the receiving institution (where the student wants to attend after high school).

Dedicated Staff and Professors
We are available, equipped, and empowered to meet your needs. You’ll find Taylor’s staff and faculty to genuinely care about your students' success.
