Discovering Your Calling
The two questions of vocation are: Who am I? and What am I to do? The Calling and Career Office (CCO) at Taylor has designed its services and programs to guide students in discerning how to respond to these questions.
The CCO offers Vocation classes, including one that students can take in their first semester, that are designed to help students consider their strengths and the themes of work that are meaningful to them. As students consider who they are we guide them in testing different options as they consider the major that is right for them.
The CCO has also designed individual appointments and events to help students find internships and jobs that are in alignment with their interests and goals. The Annual Internship and Career Fair is one example of this, however, the essential service of the CCO will always be the individual appointment of which the CCO hosts around 800-900 each year.
