Three Taylor University business students were among featured presenters at the SalesForce Higher Education Summit Conference, held in Washington D.C., March 21-23.
Senior Joe Schuette and juniors Alex Hunter and Mitchell Whedon presented findings of their Data Analytics Team from their Marketing 370 class. The team worked directly with Taylor’s enrollment management office to help organize the office’s data in a more efficient way using the SalesForce data management tool.
The team presented findings related to their work with the specialized SalesForce component, Einstein Analytics, which helps admissions recruiters narrow searches of potential student pools.
“By presenting their work at the Salesforce Higher Education Summit 2018, these students represent Taylor’s commitment to provide academic opportunities in the context of real hands-on experience,” said Nathan Baker, director of enrollment analytics. “It’s exciting for Taylor to be a client-leader in the higher education sector of Salesforce users.”
