Lisa Gilpin

Biography

I began my career as a trust assistant working with high-profile clients in a "Jane Hathaway" role doing everything from buying a customer's television to the preparation of estate tax returns. When my children came along, I focused on their education and took on a series of part-time jobs and volunteer roles to financially supplement their educational experience and give me the chance to serve my passion for small businesses, my community, and my church. I re-entered the workforce full-time after the sudden and unexpected death of my husband in 2013. It was then that I discovered my experience in education made me a mentor and an innovator, my volunteer experience prepared me for event and meeting planning, my telemarketing experience taught me to "keep dialing" and kept me up-to-speed on technology, etc... I continue to draw upon all those experiences as I acquire new skills and adapt to the one constant: change! I'm looking with hope to the future knowing that "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28)
