Joyce Wood

Biography

Joyce Wood has served the Taylor community over four decades, most recently as the Senior Director of Parent and Community Relations, and formerly Associate Vice President for University Relations and Marketing, Interim Associate Vice President for Alumni and Parent Relations, and Director of Conferences and Special Events. Although officially retired from the University, she supports various functions including consulting roles in Alumni and Parent Relations and the Office of the President. She holds a BA in Communication Studies from Taylor University, and grew up around the University as the daughter of a long-serving faculty member.

Joyce has served various community boards and committees, including the Council for Colleges and Universities PR/Communication Commission, United Way of Grant County, United Way Allocations Committee, Grant County Lodging Association, Grant County Economic Growth Council, First Community Church of Matthews, Indiana, Upland Chamber of Commerce, and the committee for the formation of Greater Grant County, a recent merger of Chambers of Commerce in Grant County.
