My wife, Brittany, and I just recently joined the Taylor community in July of 2022! We got married and moved to Upland two days after the wedding for me to start my master's degree through the MAHE program here on campus. After visiting campus for MAHE's assistantship interview day, I knew this was the place where God was calling us to be for the next season of our life. We are both so excited to be living on campus, and living with students, and to fully immerse ourselves in Residence Life and the Taylor community!
Expand your circle, both relationally and in your education. College is made up of so many unique people, students, employees, and professors. Take the time to get to know people you are around, and try to find others who are not normally someone you would engage with. College also provides a unique educational experience, if you are interested in something outside of your major, take it as an elective! Read, discuss, and interact with different topics outside of your realm of knowledge! I promise, your future self with thank you!
