Career Highlights

Holly Whitby serves as Vice President for Enrollment & Marketing. Since joining Taylor University in 2021, Holly has been passionate about expanding Taylor’s brand and growing Taylor’s enrollment footprint nationally and globally. Under her leadership, the Enrollment & Marketing team has helped achieve record enrollment milestones while advancing and celebrating Taylor's brand of authentic, Christ-centered learning.

Prior to her work at Taylor, Holly served at her alma mater, Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee, where she assumed progressively broader leadership roles, including Director of Admissions, Associate Provost and Dean of Enrollment, and Vice President for Enrollment, Marketing, & Athletics.

Before transitioning into higher education, Whitby spent nearly two decades in the private sector, including 12 years with a Microsoft Business Solutions partner, where she earned multiple sales and marketing awards. She also founded her own consulting firm, gaining valuable experience in small business and entrepreneurship.

About

Holly has been married to her husband, James, for nearly 30 years, and together they have two sons, Parker ‘25 and AJ ‘27. As both a Taylor parent and University leader, one of her greatest joys has been watching her sons flourish within Taylor's Christ-centered community.

An avid walker, Holly treasures time spent outdoors and can often be found exploring Upland, strolling Taylor's campus, or enjoying the area's local trails. She has also loved watching Upland transform through the Main Street Mile Initiative and has been grateful to contribute by volunteering with the effort and contributing to University’s communications related to the initiative. Among Holly's favorite Taylor traditions are Nostalgia Night and MyGen, which celebrate the incredible musical talent on Taylor’s campus.
