Biography

I am originally from Indiana and went to Taylor University for my undergraduate degree on a Lily Endowment Scholarship. After graduating with a degree in communication studies, I lived and worked in Galway, Ireland, before returning to Indiana to earn a master's degree at Ball State University. I am currently a Fulbright Grant recipient and PhD researcher at Queen's University Belfast where I am studying political identity of young people in a post-conflict society.

Advice to Incoming Freshmen

My advice to incoming freshmen is to have grace for yourself as you embark on a new journey. College isn't always easy and it's okay to make mistakes! Enjoy every moment you can of this transitional time and be open to learning as much as you can from everyone you meet.
