I have enjoyed serving as a Bible quiz coach and quizmaster for many years at our local Free Methodist Church. We quiz each season over a book(s) of the Bible, and study about one chapter per week. I enjoy the opportunity to memorize Scripture, something which I also include in my math classes. My family and I are also big basketball and football fans. We follow the Indiana Hoosiers and Indianapolis Colts.
My family and I always enjoy visiting the Smokey Mountains for family vacations. We spent a week there with our extended family, when we were chosen to be featured in a PBS television show called Getting Away Together. We enjoy hiking in the Great Smokey Mountains and other state and national parks.
