Exceptional students with a passion for working and serving in the entertainment industry may apply to Taylor University’s Semester in Los Angeles, open to Film & Media Arts majors. Those accepted spend one semester of their junior or senior year in Los Angeles, learning what it means to thrive as a Christian in the entertainment industry.
Students earn up to 16 credit hours, complete one or two internships in their area of interest, and take a course called “Inside the Entertainment Industry” taught by entertainment industry professionals. The program also includes studio tours, special events, film screenings, and networking. Students live in Pasadena.
