A unique feature of Master of Arts in Higher Education program at Taylor University is the guaranteed availability of a paid, on-campus assistantship.
The assistantship program is mandatory—every student, based on his or her personal area of interest, and in consultation with a faculty mentor, is placed in a graduate assistantship position. Each assistantship is designed as an educational experience providing the student with marketable skills as well as a stipend. Stipend amounts for assistantships vary from a minimum of $4,000-$5,000 per year, depending on the specific opportunity and skills requirements. Students with an assistantship in Residence Life also receive housing and seven meals per week.
The following Taylor University departments host or have recently hosted a graduate assistantship position. Additional positions may be added as approved:
If you have paid your deposit, you will receive information regarding your participation in Assistantship Interview Day.
Caleb Kleinmann
MAHE Student
"Taylor’s MAHE program offers a robust, holistic understanding of today’s higher education climate. Thanks to its in-person, hands-on approach, I have not only gained valuable knowledge and experience as a hall director, but also a deeper awareness of Christ’s preeminence in this realm of work."
