About Us

Spiritual Life and Intercultural Leadership (SLIL) exists to nurture Christ-centered spiritual formation and cultivate a globally engaged community. Rooted in Taylor’s mission to develop servant-leaders, SLIL weaves together worship, discipleship, and intercultural learning to shape students holistically. We create an environment where students deepen their walk with Christ while engaging meaningfully across cultures—growing in their understanding of God’s work in the world and in one another.

Our vision reflects the biblical image of Heaven: a multitude from every nation, tribe, people, and language worshipping Christ (Rev. 7:9). At Taylor, students have abundant opportunities to learn and grow together in a community that values and celebrates all backgrounds.

We believe every student is better prepared for the future by participating in a global community. Through these experiences, students form connections that help them become more effective intercultural leaders and faithful Christ-followers.
