Through a self-serve, buffet-style dining experience, the DC provides a variety of thematic food choices for the students who gather there for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Daily meal choices include traditional Midwest and American fare, global and health-conscious options, a pasta bar, Mexican section, salad bar, deli, cereal selection and daily specials made to order. Because the DC is the primary place for students to eat on campus, dining services staff continually evaluate how they can improve the dining experience. And more than that, they have a heart for serving and enjoy getting to know students personally.

Special Dietary Needs

Our head chef works closely with students who have special dietary requirements. For those with a low to moderate level of need, he works to provide specific food options that meet their needs and tries to be available for questions. Individuals with more serious needs are assigned to a specific staff member who oversees the needs of that student. He or she can provide a meal prepared to required specifications. These students meet regularly with dining services staff to be sure their needs are accommodated.
