Twenty-six Biology Pre-Health majors have arrived in Cuenca, Ecuador, to begin a semester-long program. The students will live in the homes of Christian host families and study Spanish, Latin American History, General Education History Course Human Medical Physiology and physiology courses, among other subjects.
Dr. John M. Moore, Professor of Biology and Director of the Cuenca Program is serving this year as President of the Hoosier Association of Science Teachers Inc. Dr. Moore will serve during the 2013-14 year as President and will be the Conference Chairman and Past President for the state Professional Development conference in 2015.

Dr. Andy Whipple will deliver the 2013 School of Natural and Applied Sciences Distinguished Lecture at 4:00 p.m., Friday, April 26, during Taylor’s Heritage Weekend.
