First Annual Zombie Run Tonight at Taylor

By Jared Hammond Published: Oct 25, 2012

Taylor University student groups will host the First Annual Zombie Run tonight on the Taylor campus.

The Zombie Run is hosted by ACT:S and T.W.O. in support of Blood: Water Mission. It is a two lap relay race around campus. Every team that signs up is given two flags and their goal is to complete the race with both flags in hand. The course is covered in obstacles to slow the runners and there are ravenous zombies lurking around to steal the flags.

There are prizes for any team who crosses the finish line with both flags, the first team to cross the finish line, and the team with the best costume. Team registry opens at 8:30 p.m., Thursday, October 25, at Rediger Chapel/Auditorium. The race starts at 9:00 p.m. Registration is $4.00 per person. Entrants can run on their own or in a team of up to four people.

Blood: Water Mission is an organization that builds fresh water wells and helps to prevent AIDS in Africa.
