2013 Art Careers Symposium Coming to Taylor

Taylor University's Art Department will host the 2013 Art Careers Symposium Monday, February 18, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., in the Metcalf Visual Arts Center and the Rupp Communication Arts Center on the Taylor campus.
The day begins with presentations by guest artists at 11:00 a.m., in the Mitchell Theatre. They include:
Nancy Boren Painter, Dallas, Texas
J.R. Caines Designer, Kansas City, Missouri
Julee Holcombe Photographer, Portsmouth, New Hampshire
From 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., there is a free lunch in the Mitchell Theatre Lobby followed by workshops and panel discussions.
2:00-3:00 p.m. - Workshops in painting, design, photography, sculpture and more, Metcalf
3:00-4:00 p.m. - Panel Discussion with the Taylor Art Department Faculty, Metcalf
