Tom Green

Tom Green, Regional Director for Advancement-Indianapolis (81)

Tom brings twenty-plus years of success in the financial services field, has lived in Indianapolis for two decades, and attends Grace Community Church.  Tom and his wife Laurie are Taylor alumni and parents.  Tom cheers vigorously for the Cubs and the Colts, he loves live theatre (both performing and watching), and never passes up the chance to spend time with his grandson.  Tom will be based in Indianapolis and has primary responsibility for working with current and new Taylor partners in Indiana as well as several southern states.

Ken Wolgemuth

Ken Wolgemuth, Regional Director for Advancement-Chicago (67)

Ken brings thirty-plus years of success in the sales and marketing fields, has lived in Chicago for 40 (plus) years, and attends Faith Evangelical Covenant Church in Wheaton. Ken and his wife Sharon are Taylor alumni and former parents. Their interests include the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, oil painting, and water gardening. Ken is based in Chicago and has primary responsibility for working with current and new Taylor partners in Illinois as well as several western states.

Donald McLaughlin

Donald McLaughlin, Regional Director for Advancement - Michigan (75)

Donald comes to Taylor with twenty years of experience in the financial services industry and nine years in major gift fundraising.  He has lived in South Bend, Indiana for more than 30 years, and is an active member of Clay United Methodist Church. 

A former member of Taylor's Alumni Council, Donald and his wife Beth are both Taylor alumni and parents to two daughters.  Donald is a member of the Centurions, a Christian world-view initiative of Prison Fellowship, is interested in apologetics, composes music in his home-based studio, and is active as a leader in the church youth group.  Donald is based in Granger, Indiana and has primary responsibility with Taylor partners in Michigan, Ohio and several northeastern states.

David Ritchie

David Ritchie, Associate Vice President for Campaigns (96)

David Ritchie has been serving at Taylor for the past seven years.  He currently helps to direct the development office.

Both he and his wife Lisa enjoy the privilege of investing their lives in the people and missions of Taylor.

Michael Falder

Michael Falder, Director of Planned Giving (94)

Michael Falder served from 2007-2009 as director of the Taylor Fund, leading it to record levels - raising nearly $3.8 million over two years and resulting in its recognition as one of the three best annual funds among all colleges and universitites in the Midwest by the Council for the Support and Advancement of Education (CASE) Region V.

Prior to joining the Taylor advancement staff, Falder served for 10 years as executive director of Central Michigan Youth For Christ. He and his wife Traci (Tiberi) '96 are the parents of two children: Jonah (4) and Lydia (1).

Brad Yordy

Brad Yordy, Director of Stewardship and Scholarships (05)

Brad graduated from Taylor in 2005 and worked at USA Water Ski as the Assistant Director of Competition in Polk City, FL.  He returned to Taylor University in the spring of 2007 to oversee the scholarship program.  Brad is an Upland native, and has deep roots in the community.

He is married to Kelly (Peters '05) Yordy,  who is the Swallow Robin Resident Hall Director.  For leisure, Brad enjoys water skiing, mountain biking, woodworking, being out-doors, coffee and good conversation filled with laughter.

Laura Key

Laura Key, Director of Advancement & Donor Services

Laura has been with Taylor since 1997 and currently serves directing the areas of university advancement technology and donor services.  She provides database support and report writing, as well as overseeing the receipting of gifts to the university.   Laura holds a BA from Earlham College.

Laura lives near Swayzee with her husband John and their children, Samuel and Abby.  She stays busy with church activities where her husband is the pastor.

Christi Stargel

Christi Stargel, Assistant Director of Advancement & Donor Services

Chrisit is new to Taylor University, arriving in May 2007 where she is currently assisting Laura Key in the areas of university advancement technology and donor services.  Prior to Taylor, she was and is currently involved with Child Evangelism Fellowship, serving in various capacities.  She also holds a BA from Anderson College.

Christi is active in her local church where is she involved in choir, sign-language and other ministries.  For leisure, she likes the outdoors, sports, reading and spending time with her family.  She lives in Marion, along with her husband Mark and daughter Rebekah.

Tanya Ford

Tanya Ford, Prospect Research Coordinator

Tanya has been with Taylor since 2006.  She manages the grants and conducts research for university advancement.  She has a BS and BUP from Ball State University. 

Tanya and her family live in Fairmount and are active in their community and church.  Avocations include gardening, reading, hiking, camping, fishing and family activities.
