Why I love teaching at Taylor:
Taylor University offers the unique opportunity to “do life” with your students. With the communal focus I have the privilege of interacting with students beyond textbook terms to include aspects of life and Christian commitment. Taylor students are exciting and passionate about finding the paths God has for them and I get the privilege to participate in this process.
Advice to incoming students:
Take advantage of all the opportunities TU has to offer. Get involved with the other students in your residence hall, go on a Lighthouse trip, take on a leadership position, form a chapel band, play intramurals, act in a TU production, and yes—get to know your professors because we want to know you. On the surface four years may seem like a long time but it will go by very quickly so make the most of every opportunity during your time in Upland.
Linda lives in Upland with her husband and their two daughters. She enjoys running, fishing, tennis, traveling, reading, music, and spending time with her family. She also enjoys watching Parks & Rec, LOST reruns, and PTI on ESPN.
