Taylor University, class of 2006, Bachelor of Science in Social Studies Education
Why I came to Taylor:
Professor Vanderberg came to Taylor as a student because he wanted to grow spiritually, academically, and athletically in the Taylor community. He has continued at Taylor as a faculty member and coach so that he can help shape lives of students in these same three areas.
Advice to incoming students:
Effort is essential for college success. Be prepared to put forth a high level of effort as you set goals and adapt to this new and exciting stage of life.
In addition to his work as Learning Specialist in the Academic Enrichment Center, Professor Vanderberg enjoys running and coaching cross country and track at Taylor. He also looks forward to spending time at home with his family each day, while also travelling in the summers to Lake Michigan. He is a fan of the Detroit Tigers, and also enjoys boating, movies, and exploring new music.
