Campbell Hall
The newly constructed Campbell Hall provides a modified residential experience for upperclassmen, allowing students to experience more independent living while remaining involved in Taylor's intentional residential program. Located on the Northwest corner of campus, Campbell Hall allows students to remain involved on campus. The building houses 60 students in four-person apartments, with a common lounge space and study rooms available for all students.
Steve Mattiace, Graduate Director - Campbell Hall
I am Steve Mattiace, Hall Director and Graduate Assistant in Campbell Hall. It's been wonderful to see how God has brought me to Taylor and to the Master of Arts in Higher Education. Originally from the Hudson Valley of New York, I graduated from Messiah College in Grantham, PA, in 2006, with a BA in Psychology. After working for two years with 5-19 year olds in a mental and behavioral health facility, I am starting my second year in professional student development. Working with students has been a vocational passion that God put on my heart five years ago, and it is very exciting to see how he has brought that to fruition in His time. Some of my interests are reading, great coffee, loose leaf tea, sushi, cooking (especially experimenting with my own ideas), international football, baseball, and wood working. I love to learn about new things and to research as much as I can about new interests.
My role at Campbell Hall affords me the opportunity to work with upper classmen and help them think about life after college and the call of God on their lives. It is truly an exciting time of life for many students. Being able to give students the skills and tools to come through that transition and to be able to share some of my journey after college is what I enjoy most.
