World Opportunities Week

Introduction to W.O.W. 2007

Flyer CoverTaylor University and Taylor World Outreach are proud to present World Opporunities Week 2007. This year's World Opportunities Week theme is "Here Am I", taken from Isaiah 58:8-9

6 "Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke? 7 Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter- when you see the naked, to clothe him, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood? 8 Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the LORD will be your rear guard. 9 Then you will call, and the LORD will answer; you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I."

Why W.O.W.?

World Opportunities Week (WOW) is a week designed to increase Taylor students' involvement in global missions through prayer, active service, and support. WOW's goal is to bring excitement and knowledge about cross-cultural evangelization to the Taylor community with current information about the status of missions throughout the world. Our hope is that as a result of WOW, students will be challenged to pray more earnestly for the spiritually lost, and actively seek out God's direction for their role in missions.
