Computing Services

ITComputing Services support the University's campus network and server infrastructures. The group manages and maintains the high-speed campus backbone network, the ResNet, LAN connectivity, wireless networks, wide area network between campuses, and the University servers.

The University Network Infrastructure is comprised of Cisco switches and routers, Cisco Wireless Access Points, Amer Switches, and Packeteer Packetshapers.  We utilize tools such as MRTG, CiscoWorks, Fluke Products, and Kiwi Syslog to manage and maintain the network.

The University Server Infrastructure is comprised of HP Proliants running Windows 2000 Server and HP Alphas running OpenVMS.  We utilize tools such as Windows Terminal Services, HP Insight Manager and Kiwi Syslog to manage and maintain the servers.
