Application Services
The Application Services group provides consulting and software tools to support University processes. This is accomplished by developing, implementing, configuring, integrating and supporting enterprise information applications and the environments in which those applications operate.
The goal of the Application Services group is to deploy and support applications and environments that are reliable, sustainable and provide quality usability with a view for information integrity and security. The successful and appropriate deployment of enterprise applications adds effectiveness and efficiency to University administrative, educational and service functions.
Current applications include:
- Student information systems including academic records
- Recruiting, applications and admissions
- Alumni, donor and gifts
- Finance systems including accounts receivable, accounts payable and general ledger
- Human Resources
- Course management
- Card Key production, tracking and door access
- Web content management systems
- Portals for students, faculty and staff
- Resource scheduling
- Various self-service applications including access to registration and grades, insurance waiver and group absence reporting
