The duo of Alyssa Johnson and Ashley Henry finished their season Saturday at the 2009 NAIA Cross Country National Championships at Fort Vancouver National Historic Site in Vancouver, Wash.
Senior Alyssa Johnson and sophomore Ashley Henry earned All-MCC honors and led the Lady Trojans to a fourth place finish at the 2009 MCC Cross Country Championship meet contested on the campus of IPFW.
The Lady Trojan cross country team placed 7th at the 19 team Great Lakes Challenge contested on Saturday morning in Grand Rapids, Michigan. TU was led by senior Alyssa Johnson who finished 6th in the field of 225 runners as she covered the 5000 meter distance with a time of 18:49.
The Lady Trojan cross country team placed third at the six-team Bethel Invitational on Saturday morning. TU was led by senior Alyssa Johnson who finished 1st for the second consecutive week as she covered the 5000 meter distance with a personal best time of 18:34.
Senior Alyssa Johnson won the individual title at the IWU Wildcat Invitational to lead the Lady Trojans to a second place finish.
