Robin Lockridge
Coach's EmailThe Taylor University athletic department has announced the selection of Robin Lockridge as the next head coach of the women's softball team.
A 2000 graduate of Taylor, Lockridge majored in Christian Education.
For the past three seasons she has served as a coach on the Salem, Illinois high school staff.
While at TU, Lockridge earned four letters in softball and helped lead the Lady Trojans to the 1999 Mid-Central Conference championship.
In 2003 she received her Master of Arts in Christian Education from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and has been the Minister of Education and Students at the Salem First Baptist Church for the past four years.
Assistant Coach - Erin VanBuren
Erin VanBuren is in her fifth year as an assistant coach for her alma mater.
The native of Saline, Michigan, played four years of softball for the Lady Trojans from 1999 to 2003. During her stint at Taylor VanBuren saw action in the infield at second and third base.
She graduated from Taylor in 2003 with a degree in elementary education. Along with her coaching responsibilities, VanBuren teaches fourth grade at Washington Elementary in Marion, Ind.
