The Taylor University men's cross country program has been one of outstanding quality for the duration of its 54-year history. The Trojans boast seventeen All-American awards including seven top ten finishes at the NAIA National Championships including Ralph Foote's individual championship in 1969.

Trojans Michael Pabody, Isaac Bryan, and Tom Robertson all placed in the top five to lead Taylor to a second place finish at the 2009 MCC Cross Country Championship meet contested on the campus of IPFW.
The Taylor men's cross country placed 7th at the Great Lakes Invitational hosted by Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The TU trio of Isaac Bryan, Michael Pabody and Tom Robertson continued to pace the Trojans as they were all in the top 25 of the 250-runner field.
Taylor's 25th ranked men's cross country placed second at the Bethel Invitational on Saturday despite not having Michael Pabody in the lineup due to illness. Isaac Bryan and Tom Robertson didn't miss a beat, taking second and third respectively in the 55-runner field.
Great pack running led the men's cross country team to a victory at the Indiana Wesleyan University Wildcat Invitational on Saturday morning. A 3-4-5 finish from Michael Pabody, Isaac Bryan, and Tom Robertson was key in the Trojans win.
The 24th-ranked Taylor men's cross country team finished third Friday in the 14-team Little State race at the 2009 Indiana Intercollegiate Cross Country Championships hosted by Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Ind.
