Lady Trojan XC 3rd at IPFW

The Lady Trojan cross country team opened their season by placing third in the six-team field at the IPFW Invitational on Saturday. TU was led by senior Alyssa Johnson who finished 6^th in the 58-runner field with a time of 19:52 for the 5K distance.

Fellow seniors Hilary Peterson and Tabitha Bogue placed 11^th and 14^th with times of 20:19 and 20:26 respectively.

Kirstin Hegelein finished in 20:47, a personal best, for 17^th place, while Ashley Henry's 20:58 was good enough for the 20^th position.

Kelsey Vanhousen and Armila Francis rounded out the top seven by placing 22^nd and 25^th.
