Walsh scored two unanswered touchdowns in the fourth quarter to snatch a 24-17 win from the Trojans. The Trojans drove to the Walsh 27-yard line in the final minute of play, but were unable to get into the end zone to tie the game.
The Taylor football team fell behind 26-0 in the first half on Saturday at St. Xavier, and despite 15 second half points, were unable to overcome the Cougars.
The Taylor football team (2-6, 0-4) held a 23-22 lead late in the third quarter, but the Marian Knights (5-4, 1-4) scored 10 straight points to grab a 32-23 victory.
