Honors Guild Admissions Requirements
If you are interested in the Honors Guild, you need the following:
Applicants should have a high school GPA of at least 3.7 and an SAT score of 1280 or an ACT score of 28. Once you have applied, we will receive copies of your scores from the admissions office.
Honors Guild applicants should be serious about intellectual engagement and passionate about intentional community with other like-minded students and faculty.
Be prepared to answer an essay question. When writing your essay, please keep in mind that there are limited spots available for admission to the Honors Guild. The process is competitive; each year we turn away students with high scores. The essay is your opportunity to set yourself apart.
Students wishing to apply to the Honors Guild will need to submit basic personal information like contact information, and a reference from an AP-level instructor. Please email the link to your AP-level teacher. The link to the reference form can be found here.
On campus interviews are required for admittance to the Honors Guild. Interview days for 2014 are February 17th and February 21st. Interested students should plan to visit campus and schedule a time for a group interview with Honors Guild faculty. You must meet the admissions requirements to schedule an interview. To sign up for an interview, call the admissions office at (765) 998-5511 and specifically ask for an Honors Guild interview. Applications are due by February 1st.
The application deadline is February 1st.
