Applying to Taylor

Image of Students OutdoorsThanks for your interest in applying to Taylor!

We know that the application process requires an investment of time and energy on your part and we will do all that we can to honor that investment. We also know that the application process can be overwhelming so we've broken it down for you into steps.

  1. Fill out the application, including the essay. This can be done in three different ways:
  2. Give the Guidance Counselor Recommendation Form to the guidance counselor at your school. Ask them to fill it out and return to our office with a copy of your transcripts and ACT or SAT test scores. Download a printable Guidance Counselor Recommendation Form.
  3. Give the Pastor Recommendation Form to your youth pastor, small group leader, or someone who can comment on your spiritual walk. Ask them to fill it out and return to our office. Download a printable Pastor Recommendation Form.
  4. Complete a personal interview. This gives us the opportunity to get to know you a little bit better. Our desire is for you to visit campus and have a face-to-face interview but if you live too far away, feel free to schedule an interview over the phone instead. Schedule your face-to-face interview online or call us at (800) 882-3456 to schedule your phone interview.

In addition, Before You Begin will provide you with some information about how we view the application process. You can get a quick overview of our application deadlines under Important Dates. If you're an international student, make sure to check out our International Requirements.
