Education Department
Taylor University maintains one of the most distinguished education programs in the nation. The department’s goal is to develop competent, caring, and reflective teachers prepared for world service. Because the program is based on experiential learning, students enter area classrooms for field study during all four years. Rural, inner-city, and overseas student teaching opportunities exist.
Taylor University’s Education program is accredited by NCATE (the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education) and the Indiana Professional Standards Board. Taylor’s education program is an exciting way to enter a profession that impacts young lives.
