- The Orvieto Semester
The Orvieto Semester
The Orvieto Semester through Gordon College takes an "interdisciplinary approach to the study of art, art history, history, and theology" in the historic and picturesque setting of Orvieto, Italy.
This program is art-intensive, but not restricted to art majors. Students earn 16 hours of transfer credit as they study the Italian language, take an interdisciplinary course in the cultural history of the Italian Renaissance and select two courses in the areas of studio art or history and theory of the arts. Orvieto participants reside in recently renovated double rooms, each with a private bath, in the convent of San Lodovico.
