Academic Advisors
The Office of the Registrar assigns faculty academic advisors to all students in their areas of academic interest. Advisors are provided to assist students in planning their academic programs. Advisors are authorized to communicate the established policy of the University.
Students are expected to:- Assume responsibility for obtaining academic advising after enrolling at Taylor.
- Keep informed about general education and major/minor requirements by consulting the academic catalog and program curriculum guides.
- Initiate and be prepared for conferences with assigned advisors.
- Be aware of published academic deadlines and regulations as stated in the University academic calendar and catalog.
While Taylor University publishes program information and materials and assigns advisors, the student is solely responsible for ensuring that his or her academic program complies with the policies of the University. Any advice that is at variance with established policy must be confirmed by the Office of the Registrar.
