Senior Comprehensive Examination

A candidate for a baccalaureate degree must pass a comprehensive examination in the major field of study.  This examination is given during the senior year.  A student is allowed a maximum of three attempts to pass the examination in any single major.  If a student intends to graduate in more than one major, an examination is required for each.  The examinations are marked superior, pass or fail.
