Do you need help finding possible graduate programs around the U.S.? Are you preparing for the GRE, LSAT, MCAT, or other exam as you begin your grad school search? 

The library has access to several types of study guides for various graduate prep exams, as well as some online resources that might help you determine the best program for your interests. The following list includes books in the Reference and Main Collection of Zondervan materials, as well as an online database for college and university searching and a few key web sites that may help direct you to the schools best matched for your areas of interest.

    CollegeSource is a database featuring over 10,000 college catalogs in complete cover-to-cover original page format for 2-year, 4-year, graduate, and professional schools. Multiple search options including criteria (tuition, enrollment, affiliation, major) and geographic search. Offers links to college home pages, financial aid resources, and career information sites.

  • US News & World Report
    This journal publishes rankings of national schools and higher education programs. Their web site provides some of the rankings, but their print and electronic subscription services provide the full reports. Taylor has a print subscription to this publication--so you can find it along the shelves of Current Periodicals. We also subscribe have the electronic version through various databases. Internet Resources

  • US Higher Education
    The most comprehensive collection of web sites and information on institutions of higher education in the United States. Produced and maintained by the University of Texas at Austin. You can download the complete catalogs of the colleges and universities identified on this site from the database CollegeSource, listed in the above section of this guide. 

  • Though the study guides and other help is not free, a few web sites for publishers of GRE and other grad school prep materias provide online versions of their books, prep tests, etc.
