Mars Hill Audio Journal

03.07.2008

For a resource that will stimulate and nurture a thoughtful and holistic Christian faith, explore the Mars Hill Audio Journal available in Zondervan Library (like a periodical except it's on audio CDs which can be checked out).  In the Mars Hill Audio Journal, editor Ken Myers interviews a range of authors to inform a distinctively Christian perspective on our world.  (Mr. Myers was Taylor's annual C. S. Lewis lecturer and chapel speaker on Friday, March 8.  Check out the archived chapel address.)

Here's an excerpt from the Mars Hill web site: http://www.marshillaudio.org/

"We believe that fulfilling the commands to love God and neighbor requires that we pay careful attention to the neighborhood: that is, every sphere of human life where God is either glorified or despised, where neighbors are either edified or undermined. Therefore, living as disciples of Christ pertains not just to prayer, evangelism, and Bible study, but also our enjoyment of literature and music, our use of tools and machines, our eating and drinking, our views on government and economics, and so on."
